Hiding money under the mattress
After the week I had this week and dealing with the bank and a huge issue going on I seriously contemplated pulling every dime of my money from financial institutions and just paying cash from here on out. Then I remember how much I love the ease of doing automatic drafts and linking my Quicken software to my bank account so it automatically updates for me. I like having it easy. I just don’t like when they take $400 they shouldn’t have and are giving me a huge time with getting it back!! Trust me, I will get it back. Sometime down the road i will, I’m a redhead, I’m just stubborn like that. In the mean time I didn’t resorts to hiding it all under my mattress. I just switched banks. LOL That will show them!! I actually got a better deal at the new bank. It’s one that my agency uses for all it’s business accounts and because of that we get certain advantages. Like direct deposits a day early, free check orders, 2% return on savings instead of .25%. These girls know me to since I’m there every single day making deposits so i can only hope that my experience here is better. In the mean time, this month is going to suck financially. I had to switch around so many things to make it work. I don’t know about most of you, but if I’m out $400 it defintiely makes a difference! Is it January yet?? I’m ready to start the new year b/c december is determined to go out with a bang.
